Hydrocolloid is a gentle, absorbent dressing. Pressed over a whitehead, it pulls fluid and gunk up and away from the skin. Meanwhile, it keeps the area clean and covered. Most importantly, it stops you picking. You’ll often see the patch turn white by morning, that’s the mess out of your skin instead of in it.
